Abraham Hicks Emotional Chart:
Feelings Chart PDF by CasuallyLuxe
Printable Abraham Hicks Emotional Guidance Scale PDF
If you use the Emotional Guidance Scale as a quick check-in (or a daily practice), this printable turns it into something you can actually see at a glance—so you can name where you are, then choose a slightly better-feeling step from there. (If you’ve come across David R. Hawkins’ “Map/Scale of Consciousness” before, the idea will feel familiar: emotions arranged on a spectrum you can move through.)
After years of using the scale myself, I redesigned it in 2020 because I couldn’t find a version I wanted to print and keep around—clean, readable, and easy to use. This is my illustrated take: made to work as wall art and as a practical reference.
The design has evolved over time, but the goal stayed the same: help you assess your emotional “set point” quickly. The newest version includes clear numbering, which makes it much easier to locate your current spot on the chart and track changes over time. I also did a couple of other designs you can check out too.

How to Use the Printable Emotional Scale Chart PDF
- Print out the PDF (or upload the picture on your device, or buy a print)
- Focus on your current emotions
- Look at the Emotional Guidance Scale picture —where do you think you’re at?
- Pick a higher position on the scale and try to focus on more positive thoughts that can get you there
- Use the Abraham Hicks workbook or other journaling techniques to focus your thoughts.
Remember—emotions such as anger are higher on the scale than, say depression. This is why the scale is a useful anchoring tool.
Emotional Guidance Scale for Law of Attraction Journaling
Basically, the aim of Law of Vibration and Law of Attraction practices is to stay in a higher vibration, that is – positive state of mind. If you are at a higher frequency of vibration, you can be sure that you are aligned with Law of vibration.
So in short – to use the frequency chart for journaling, first you determine how you feel according to the 22 steps scale. Then, you can freely use whatever Abraham processes are appropritate for you.
The Emotional Guidance Scale is Included in The Bundle
Important to note – my bundle of Law of Attraction worksheets by Abraham Hicks does contain both a free addition of the frequency of vibration chart, and a numbered sidebar in the journaling exercsises. Thus, you can quickly determine where you’re at.
If you want to, you can purchase the Abraham Hicks worksheets on casuallyluxe.etsy.com too. Click below for the love edition of the worksheets, or perhaps explore the original Abraham Hicks journal.
How I Illustrated the Abraham Hicks Emotional Guidance Scale
I had a few attempts at illustrating the Emotional Guidance Scale. Eventually I made a few illustrations that represent my idea of high vibration vs. low vibration emotions.
These illustrations of the emotional ladder were inspired by things like spirals, swirls, ribbons and other things I thought work as a representation.
Ribbon of Energy from Low to High
Following the general idea of a scale with 22 steps depicting high vibration vs. low vibration, I had imagined the feelings chart as a classic, minimalist art poster with “carved” names of the emotions.
Low vibration emotions transformed into higher vibration emotions through a single ribbon going left and right from bottom to top. Here you see some of the attempts at designing the emotional guidance scale chart as a ribbon of vibration.
The 22 Levels of Emotions
There are 22 levels of emotions in the Emotional Guidance Set Point Chart.
This, of course, is in accordance with the Abraham Hicks Emotional Guidance Scale system, although there are other systems out there. Esther Hicks’ Emotional Guidance Scale is a very simple emotions tracker and has only 22 levels of emotions, which however sometimes represent a few other common feelings.
For example, Fear, Grief and Depression are all on the same level, at position 22. Also, according to Abraham’s Emotional Guidance Scale, Jealousy (20) is worse than Hatred and Rage (19), but Anger (17) is a better emotion than the former (and Revenge (18).
How to Use an Emotional Guidance Scale to Get to a Higher Vibration
According to Abraham Hicks, using an Emotional Guidance Scale may take you to a higher vibration. In general, most emotion trackers basically help you in two ways and two directions:
- Name the emotions you experience
- Figure out a way to feel "better" emotions by "surrendering" them for example (methods vary)
While methods and terminology for both points differ between teachings and schools of thoughts, Abraham's Emotional Guidance Scale works in a similar fashion. Except that authors call the second point "raising your vibration" and have a slightly unconventional approach to naming and sorting feelings. That is to say, I don't think there is a conventional approach to this matter, as the subject is quite new in human history.
Naming Your Emotions is Key
Describing the emotions you experience is an important task, because it involves self-examinations. Most of us spend our lives unaware of much of the emotions we experience. To make it worse, some of our feelings cover up other, deeper feelings beneath them, which makes them even more difficult to tackle.
The utility of the Emotional Guidance Scale is in that it names common emotions and sorts them in a ladder-like chart. Then you can (hopefully) easily point which level you're at, instead of having no reference point to begin with.
Emotional Guidance Scale Pictures are Illustrated to Represent the Vibrations
Another key point is that the printable Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale pictures are usually illustrated in a way that easily conveys the position of a given emotion. Perhaps my latest Emotional Guidance set point chart with spiral-like swirl of frequencies does this job better. If you're at the top, you're at high frequencies of vibration; if your emotions are at the thinnest part of the spiral, you're in the neutral part of the scale.

Colorful Rainbow Printable Emotional Guidance Scale PDF
Colors Explained
If we assume that basic, low-level and low vibration emotions stem from the core, physical needs and fears in the human body, the colors there would be dark, red, brown, muddy. We go up the emotions scale to get to the neutral Contentment, right above the lower vibration of Boredom, and we get to green and blue colors. High vibrations emotions in the Emotional Guidance Scale Chart PDF would be purple and violet as they are closer to the higher frequencies of thinking the human mind is capable of.
